6 injured in Pakpattan incidents

PAKPATTAN: Six people were injured in separate incidents here on Sunday.
Six accused including Rehmat entered the house of Muhammad Ramzan at Chak 85-EB and allegedly injured him and his daughter over enmity. Six accused entered the house of Abdul Ghaffar at Chak Kumharanwala and allegedly injured Abdul Ghaffar, his son Nasir and his wife over a children row. Maqbool Ahmad was on his way home when five accused including Abdul Ghafoor allegedly injured him with the help of clubs and sticks over enmity. Police have registered separate cases.
5 HELD FOR DECANTING: Special Magistrate Rashida Batool on Sunday arrested five shopkeepers on the charge of decanting in separate incidents here.
They are Muhammad Saeed of Mohallah Gulzarabad, Yousaf of Bhatta No 3, Arifwala, Ghulam Fareed of Kalma Chowk, Arifwala, Kashif of Arifwala and Waqar of City Road, Arifwala. The police have registered separate cases.
4 BOOKED FOR BEATING PATWARI: Police on Sunday booked four people on the charge of beating a patwari and snatching official documents from him.
Patwari Khadim Ali went to Chak Bonga Kanwar Singh for survey for cotton and rice crops. In the meantime, five accused including Ghulam Nabi allegedly beat him and snatched official documents from him.
VALUABLES LOOTED: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Sunday.
Three dacoits entered a utility store and looted cash and other valuables. Six thieves stole 50 maund wheat worth Rs 50,000 from the house of Muhammad Bin Yameen at Chak 15-SP. Police have registered cases.
BUTCHER HELD: A veterinary officer along with police on Sunday arrested a butcher for selling unhygienic meat.
On a tip-off, the team raided the shop of Talib Hussain at Chak 71-EB and seized unhygienic meat. The police have registered a case.
