DASKA: A youth committed suicide in the City police area on Sunday.
Irfan, a resident of Sambrial Road, ended his life by jumping into the BRB Canal. The motive behind the incident is said to be financial problems.
BOOTLEGGER HELD WITH LIQUOR: Sadar police on Sunday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 40 litres liquor from him.

Naseer Ahmed was on his way home when two dacoits intercepted him and snatched cash and a cell phone. Abdul Qadir parked his bike outside a hospital. When he returned, he found it missing.
