Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has started mailing books to its over 700,000 students across the country for the Autumn, 2015 semester.
In all, there will be three million books, along with allied material to be dispatched within a period of two months to students of all academic programs, said a news release issue on Thursday. In first phase, the books are being sent to the students of CT program. A time-line has been fixed to ensure timely availability of books to the students, said Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui during his visit to the University’s print and Publication Unit.
