Four traders arrested, several fined in Dir
DIR: District administration of Upper Dir on Wednesday arrested four shopkeepers, fined another 10, and sealed eight shops in cases of profiteering.
Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Saqib Khan visited bazaars and markets in the Sheringal tehsil. Roads, bazaars, mosques, and other places were chlorinated in Sheringal tehsil where there was a complete lockdown on Wednesday as all bazaars and markets remained closed and traffic suspended. Meanwhile, the administration officials also visited the markets and closed several shops. They also dispersed gatherings of people who were sitting at shops or wandering in markets in Dir, Bibyawar, Darora, Wari, and other towns. They warned people to avoid opening their shops and wandering in the markets, or face punishment.
