Woman barred from boarding train over virus symptoms

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Railways on Thursday barred a passenger from travelling to Karachi when the doctor suspected that she had symptoms of coronavirus during screening. The railways official said that a woman along with her family was scheduled to travel to Karachi via Rahman Baba Express train. However, she was not allowed to board the train after she showed symptoms of coronavirus. The woman, 40, had returned from Karachi a week ago and was travelling back along with her family. The woman hailing from Peshawar city was shifted to Police Services Hospital.
