The students of Joint Staff Public School & College (JSPS&C) celebrated their Annual Day, says a press release.
The wife of Lieutenant General Najeeb Ullah Khan, Director General Joint Staff, was the chief guest on the occasion. Parents of the students also graced the occasion. The annual day began with the recitation of Holy Qur’aan followed by ‘Naat.’ Students of junior section presented a welcome song. They also amused the guests with the performance of Disney characters on a Barbie song.
Students of Middle Section impressed the audience with their Ribbon Dance. The song ‘Chand Sitara’ by them was heart-touching. Diligent students from Senior Section presented the work of national poets from the past in a tableau.
The day was a rich display of colour, music and light where the budding talent had the audience breaking into loud applause often. A skit on child labour was also appreciated.
This was followed by the presentation of the annual report by the principal. Teachers and students, including Laraib Baloch, Bilal Shoukat Awan, Taha Saeed Malik, Fatima Qazalbash, Rabia Saeed, Muhammad Sakhawat Shahbaz and Shazia were given badges, certificates, cash prizes and sashes.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of teachers and students for organising such a wonderful event. She also congratulated the successful students and teachers.
The school put an attractive performance of students which exhibited their talent and efforts of teachers. All guests and parents applauded students for displaying such an impressive performance in curricular and co-curricular fields.
