‘Public to get smooth supply of fruits, vegetables’

LAHORE: The Punjab government has made arrangements to ensure supply of fruits and vegetables across province in any emergency situation. The assurance was given by Provincial Agriculture Marketing special secretary here on Wednesday. Chairing a meeting, Waqar Hussain, Agriculture Marketing special secretary, said instructions had been issued to the market committees to ensure supply of vegetables, fruits and pluses to market during coronavirus related crisis situation. All markets would work normally and there will be no bar on transportation of such goods from the production areas to consumption regions.
