Private Schools Will Not Be Allowed to Increase Fees

LAHORE
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that private schools will not be allowed to increase fees. He said that private educational institutions would have to take back the increase in fee at all costs. He said this while addressing a meeting at Civil Secretariat through a video link here Thursday.
The chief minister said that unnecessary increase in fees in the name of education was unacceptable. He said that law would take its course against those private educational institutions which would not take back the increase in fees.
Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah, Chief Secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal, Secretary Law from Model Town while Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Chairman Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, Secretary Schools, DCO Lahore and the officials concerned from Civil Secretariat attended the meeting.
