Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given their right to the farmers and cultivators by announcing a historic relief package of Rs341 billion.He said that no government in the history of the country announced such a historic relief package for farmers and the credit of such a big farmer-friendly package goes to PML-N. He said, no doubt, farmers would get relief from this historic package in the real sense and this package was a milestone for the development of agriculture sector on durable basis. He said the historic relief package of Rs341 billion for the resolution of farmers issues and uplift of agriculture sector would bring a revolution in agriculture sector.
He said the problems of small farmers would be resolved due to the direct benefit of Rs147 billion. He said this package would play an important role in the provision of relief to the farmers and development of agriculture sector.
The chief minister said the PML-N government had always protected farmers interests and would do so in future as well. He said welfare of farmers, protection of their interests and promotion of agriculture was the government priority. He said that country's progress linked with agriculture sector progress. He said the PML-N government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced a comprehensive and historic relief package for the prosperity of the farmers and development of agriculture.
Admiral: Commandant Pakistan Navy War College and Commander Central Punjab Rear Admiral Abdul Aleem called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here Tuesday. Matters of mutual interest and professional affairs were discussed during the meeting.NOTICE
Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of injury to a 35-year-old man due to kite twine in Islampura and sought a report from the administration and the police. The chief minister directed that ban on kite-flying should be implemented strictly and best treatment facilities should be provided to the injured.
Meanwhile, the chief minister has also taken notice of the news regarding death of mother and a child during operation at a private hospital in Sheikhupura and sought a report of the incident. He directed that the investigation of the incident should be carried out and action be
taken against the persons responsible under the law.
