FAISALABAD: On the orders of District and Sessions Judge Abid Hussain Qureshi, Madina Town police have registered a case against it former SHO Ali Imran, ASI Shafqatullah and a constable on the charges of torturing a man and his son and keeping them in illegal detention. In a petition, Muhammad Afzal of Khayaban Colony alleged that police had illegally arrested him and his son and kept them in illegal detention. He further alleged that police also tortured them during detention.
