KARACHI: Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC) and hosts Aga Khan University (AKU) won their respective semi-final matches with contrasting results in 13th AKU Inter-University Football Tournament here at AKU Sports Centre Football Ground.
In the first semi-final, PNEC faced stiff resistance from IBA, but recorded a 5-4 triumph on penalty kick after regulation time ended with the score locked at 2-2.
AKU easily overpowered Hamdard University, recording a convincing 3-0 triumph. Armaghan Munir, Usman Mirza and Omar Yacob fired one goal each.
