Islamabad: The Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage and Pakistan Postal Department has invited entries for stamp design competition from students of all colleges and universities of the country.
The competition is being organized in connection with the 50th anniversary of 1965 war celebrations and the winners would be awarded with cast amount of Rs100,000, Rs75,000 and Rs50,000 respectively for first second and third prize winners.
The top designs will also be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic material.
The particulars of the contester should be written on back side of the design including name of participant, age, gender, full residential address, name of institution, phone number and email.
The participants have been asked to submit an undertaking that their art work is original and has no copy rights issues.
Those universities and colleges willing to participate in the competition have been advised to hold an in house competition and each institution will send short listed top three designs to room No. 413, Ministry of Information, Broadcasting -and National Heritage, Cabinet Block, Islamabad by September 15.
