Siraj says JI does not believe in in-house change
ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) central Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that JI does not believe in in-house change in assemblies.
In an interview with foreign media, Sirajul Haq observed that only way out of crisis being faced by the country and people was holding fresh general elections. He maintained that in-house change would be a conspiracy against masses and the public agenda.
Moreover, he said any attempt for in-house change would cause re-birth of 'Changa Manga' politics. "We will resist any house change and demand fresh elections in the country," he said.
The JI top leader pointed there was no place for political parties' leadership who deceived masses in the past while in the country the incumbent rulers also failed to come upto the expectations of people. "The present government has added Rs11,000 billion loan in 18 months to already existing Rs30,000 billion debt burden," he said. Sirajul Haq claimed that popularity of Jamaat increased in the last one year and people were joining party in big numbers.
