Meeting on broker regime called

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Finance, Revenue and Economics Affairs has convened a meeting this month to deliberate on issues related to new broker regime, a statement said on Thursday.
The decision was taken during a meeting on January 31, 2020, Pakistan Stock Exchange Stockbrokers Association said in the statement. Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s (SECP) Chairman, Director PSX and Chairman SECP Policy Board and other stakeholders attended the meeting. The committee asked the SECP to ensure transparency and consult with brokers about the issues in the new broker regime.
