LAHORE: Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has been picked for the best XI of the ninth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL), due to his stellar performances through the tournament. The 26-year-old pacer, who proved to be a shining star for the Melbourne Stars, coming in as injured South African player Dale Steyn’s replacement, was picked as one of the best for the team of the tournament with Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis. Rauf, who claimed 16 wickets including a five-fer and a hat-trick in seven regular matches, was chosen by coaches of eight teams. While Maxwell has been named the skipper for this year, Stoinis is currently in the lead as the highest run-scorer with 612 runs.
