JUI-F holds PTI responsible for poor economy
HARIPUR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) provincial head Senator Maulana Attaur Rahman on Friday alleged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government deliberately weakened the country economically.
Addressing the participants of a convention of Ulema here, he alleged that the PTI government was following the agenda of some global powers. However, he said the JUI-F would protect the country and work for wellbeing of the people.
The Maulana added the people were reeling from the effects of the poor policies of the
government. He further said that the poor were bearing the brunt of unbearable galloping price-hike.
The farmers, traders and the common people are equally perturbed over the prevailing economic conditions that have made it difficult for them to survive in the prevailing circumstances, he added.
He said the rulers had exposed the people to the worst price-hike for the sake of kickbacks which was evident from the export of wheat and they were now placing orders for its import. The JUIF senator said that the government was targeting seminaries in the name of reforms. Maulana Matiur Rahman Qasmi and Maulana Fayyazur Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
