IIU to launch exam research portal
Islamabad:The International Islamic University will soon launch an examination research portal.
The portal has been developed by the Examinations Research Section with the help of the university’s ORIC. A special committee has agreed that the portal’s test would be commenced at a department of Faculty of Engineering and Technology on trial basis.
A meeting in this regard was held at new campus under the chairmanship Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Acting President IIU. It was attended by Director Exams, Inam ul HAQ, Nosheen Syed, deputy director (A&E), Madiha Akram, deputy director (examinations), deputy director IT Junaid Azhar and Deputy Director Networks Shahid Mehmood.
Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik appreciated the initiative of Examination Research Section and opined that technological advancement is mandatory for ensuring speedy resolution of academic matters. He said Research Section initiative would help the university in fostering academic excellence specially terms of having software to gauge research student performance without spending a penny.
