‘PPP a symbol of federation’
From Our Correspondent
SIALKOT: Former Punjab minister and PPP leader Rana Tanvir Islam has said that the PPP is a symbol of federation as it has strong roots in the masses in all provinces of the country.
He said this while addressing a gathering at Charwa village on Friday. The PPP leader said that the PPP was the only political party which had raised strong voice against all kinds of terrorism and all forms of corruption. Rana Tanvir Islam said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb was the biggest war of our survival as a nation and the PPP was backing the operation. He said that the brave leadership of the PPP had offered several sacrifices for strengthening the democracy and for supremacy of the constitution in the country. He said that the PPP would win the next general elections with the help of the masses. He strongly condemned the repeated and unprovoked Indian firing and shelling at Charwa and other sectors of the Sialkot Working Boundary.
