Textile Institute of Pakistan organises 20th convocation 101 students graduated
KARACHI: One hundred and one graduates were conferred degrees in various disciplines at the 20th convocation ceremony of the Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP) Karachi 31 students graduatedwith distinction.
The graduates were conferred degrees in Textile Science, Textile Design Technology, Textile Management and Marketing, Apparel Manufacturing and Merchandising and Fashion Design Management.
Mrs. Sadia Rashid, Chairperson of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan and President of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, was the chief guest at the event, and awarded the medals to highest achievers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sadia Rashid in her speech congratulated all the graduating students their parents and praised the efforts of the TIP faculty and management.
In the welcome address, TIP president Mr. Humayun Zafar praised the efforts of the students and faculty, while emphasizing the role of education in the development of Pakistan. Mr. Hamayun presented the progress sheet of TIP in the last five years. It was highlighted that number of graduating students have doubled in the last five years, now we have better equipped classrooms with WiFi and cabled network to support Campus on Could.****
