Chinese 2020 Spring Festival Gala held at Suki Kinari project
BALAKOT: S K Hydro Private Limited and China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) and S K Project Management jointly organised the “2020 Spring Festival Gala for Suki Kinari Hydropower Project” at the Chinese camp of in Paras, some 25 km from here the other day.
More than 100 Pakistani guests from Khyber Pakhunkhwa government departments, military, local communities attended the event. Chinese employees of the project along with their Pakistani counterparts offered a spectacular banquet of singing, dancing, magician, poem recitation and other forms of arts.
During the event, about 20 Pakistani guests were awarded the “Star of the Project Medal” by Deng Siwen, CEO of S K Hydro Pvt. Ltd. on their contribution to the project in political, security, engineering and other areas, says a press release issued here on Friday.
MPA of KPK Ahmad Shah made an appreciation speech on behalf of the Pakistani guests. He highlighted the project’s political and economic significance to Pakistan especially the local communities, calling it a symbol of Pak-China friendship and expressed congratulations on the project’s progress.
