Inadequate response

Child sexual abuse has become a menace and a daunting threat for Pakistan. The recurrent cases of child sexual abuse have raised serious concerns about the government's efficiency in addressing this serious issue.

Though the government has taken a positive step by passing the Zainab Alert Recovery and Response Bill (ZARRA) to curb this menace, it is still inadequate. The bill must be implemented country wide since in its current form it only covers the capital.
