LAHORE:Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the prevailing flour crisis has exposed the bad governance of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government.

Talking to the media after chairing a meeting of PPP Central Punjab Executive on Wednesday, Qamar Zaman Kaira that the cronies of Pervez Musharraf were distributing atta (flour) while parking their trucks and instead of distributing the commodity through them, the government should address the crisis. He said that some of the representatives from the PTI government were claiming that there had been no food crisis whereas some were expressing concern over the prevailing situation, which clearly indicated the level of governance. He said the ministers of the PTI government as well their MNAs were pointing fingers towards the sale of jobs under the present regime and its own Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry had raised questions about the governance in Punjab. Kaira advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to take another U Turn but this time for the relief of the nation. The PPP leader also said that the government needed a big operation now.

To a question about PPP's resolve to replace the IG Sindh, Kaira replied that if Prime Minister could come up with the bureaucratic team of his choice, why not the Sindh government. He said it was the prerogative of the Singh government to decide about the IG Sindh. PPP leaders Syed Hassan Murtaza, Aslam Gill and Chaudhry Manzur were also present.
