This refers to the ‘symbolic’ blood donation by a federal minister. She is unnecessarily being criticized for a remarkable gesture given by her. Unfortunately, she does not have any Shakespeare to defend her. He would have been pleased to replace the word ‘bond’ with “symbolic donation” and said, “Tarry a little; there is something else. This symbolic donation doth give thee here no jot of blood.”
