Dr Fouzia appointment to PNCA hailed

Islamabad: Ajoka Theatre welcomed the appointment of Dr Fouzia Saeed as Director General Pakistan National Council of the Arts ( PNCA).
Ajoka’s Executive Director Shahid Nadeem said Dr Fouzia Saeed was a committed cultural activist and scholar having rich experience as Executive Director of Lok Virsa . "Her devotion to promote folk arts and gender rights is internationally recognized."
Mr Nadeem thanked Minister for Education and Culture Shafqat Mehmood for the appointment of an 'eminent and competent professional' for the post and hoped that under her dynamic and inspiring leadership, the PNCA would play a proactive role for the development of a vibrant and progressive Pakistani culture.
