Partly cloudy, hot and relatively humid weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Thursday (today).
Seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan and its adjoining area. A westerly wave is likely to approach upper parts of the country tonight and likely to persist during next 36 hours. Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. . However, rain-thundershower occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sargodha divisions. Parts of the country where it rained on Wednesday were Chakwal 16 mm, Gujranwala 09, Joharabad 07mm. The maximum in the city was 38 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 27. The maximum in the country was 42 C at Sibbi. In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan divisions).
