KARACHI: Karachi is hosting, for the first time, five back-to-back international satellite squash events from March 3-16. Each event for men carries prize money of $1000, while each event for women offers prize money of $500.
The third event is scheduled from March 9-10 and the fourth from March 12-13. Former Pakistan No 1 Nasir Iqbal is to feature in this WSF and PSA Satellite Tour. “I am very confident that Usama Khan will host these events single handedly and he has great management skills too,” said Jahanzeb Masud, the organiser, while talking to ‘The News’ from the US. “I hope they will learn from this young and energetic team how to host quality events with minimal cost for the promotion of squash,” said Jahanzeb.
