Every looted penny to be recovered from corrupt: Aslam Iqbal
LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said the country is out of difficult situation now and economy is stabile which would help generate new job opportunities.
“The masses gave us mandate to eliminate corruption and government will meet this challenge,” he said, adding the war with the corrupt mafia would continue and every looted penny will be recovered from them.
He stated this during him meeting with the industrialists and traders at Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate at Kot Lakhpat. According to a handout issued here on Friday, matters relating to the Bahawalpur Industrial Estate and establishment of new industrial estates were discussed in the meeting.
The minister said establishment of industrial units on every plot in the industrial estates would be ensured. He said the latest infrastructure was being provided in the industrial zones which would fetch investment of billions of dollars. He said the biggest industrial estate of the country was being established on 20,000 acres of land in Muzaffargarh and Layyah and there was a scope to further expand it. Aslam Iqbal said the journey of ending deprivations of south Punjab had been started and that region would be made prosper by establishing network of industries there.
