LAHORE :A number of secondary school educators (SSEs) staging a protest demonstration here on Friday demanded the government to regularise their services without interview condition by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
The protesters, including female schoolteachers, carrying banners and placards chanted slogans. They criticised the move, saying it was discriminatory keeping in view their service record and contract appointment procedure according to the Punjab government policy. They said the move had created unrest among some 25,000 schoolteachers across the province. They demanded the government regularise their services without the condition of interviews by the PPSC.
