According to media reports, Pakistan is on course to becoming the world’s third largest nuclear power within a decade. Why are we always in the headlines for such non-productive things? Why do we want to be known for how many weapons of mass destruction we possess?

It would be good if the news would be that Pakistan is to become the third largest economy or a country with 100 percent literacy rate.
