Anomalies alleged in appointment of class-IV employees
CHITRAL: The elders of Yarkhun and Laspur Union Councils on Tuesday accused the district health officer (DHO) of appointing non-locals in the Health Department.
Speaking at a joint press conference at the Chitral Press Club, the elders, including Sahib Noor Khan, Yahya Khan, Syed Mukhtiar Ali Shah advocate, Ibrahim Shah, Mahboob Ali Shah, Fida Rehmat, Zafar Khan, Manzoor Ali Shah, Imran Ali Shah and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) accused the DHO of appointing non-locals as class-IV employees in the Health Department. They said that the jobless youths of the Yarkhun and Laspur Union councils had been deprived of their right. They alleged that the DHO had appointed Ejaz Ahmed belonging to Drosh at the Civil Dispensary Yarkhun while Asifur Rehman was appointed at the Civil Dispensary both belonging to Lower Chitral district. They asked Chief Minister Mahmood Khan to take notice of the ‘illegal’ appointments or else they would stage protests.
