Inter-collegiate competitions

Islamabad:Principal Prof Tasnererm Sher Mohammad said that Inter-Collegiate competitions provide a platform to students to show their various abilities and talents on stage. These competitions are a source of learning and polishing student’s abilities, she was addressing in inter-collegiate competitions held at IMCG, I-8/4.

The event was well organised by the student council. The faculty and the students participated with full zeal and zest and made the event a success. Singing poetry and dry flower arrangements competitions were held on Monday in which students of 10 colleges of twin cities participated. Judges of the competitions were Shamim Mumtaz, Jawad Hassan, Qasim Yaqoob, Samar Malik, Ghazala Sajid, Asma Nadeem and Mr. Yasir.

In poetry competition winners were Sehar Kanwal (1st position), IMCG, F-6/2, Saliha Tahir (2nd position), ICG, F-6/2, and Kinza Sajjad Abbasi (3rd position), IMCG, I-8/4, whereas Javeria Malik, IMCG, F-10/2, Malaika Saleem, IMCG, F-7/4 and Emaan Mukhtar, ICG, F-6/2, got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in dry flower arrangements. The winners of the singing competition were Pareet Ali, IMCG, G-10/4, Shumaila Fareedan, IMCG, F-6/2 and Ghazal Ishfaq, IMCG, I-8/4. In the end principal and chief guest Tasneem Sher distributed prizes among winners of events.
