Here is good news for Islooites fed up with humid daytime weather. According to Rashid Bilal of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, rainfall coupled with strong winds is expected in the capital city and adjoining areas during the next 48 hours to ease humid conditions.
He said weak monsoon currents were currently penetrating into upper parts of the country, while a shallow westerly trough was expected to affect upper parts of the country, including Islamabad, early on Sunday.
The weatherman said the phenomenon would cause rainfall in the capital city on Sunday and Monday, while there was a high likelihood of thundershowers falling at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, upper parts of Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir during the two days.
