KOHAT: Four cops sustained injuries after protesters torched a police van during protest rally taken out against the Fata’s merger in Darra Adamkhel on Sunday.
The sources said that the people of Sheraki tribe in Darra Adamkhel staged a protest against the merger of tribal areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They said that the protesters threw stones at the police officials present on the occasion and torched the official van. The injured cops, including Station House Officer Waqar Khan and Moharrir Muhammad Khan, were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kohat.
