‘40 outlaws held in Oghi last year’

MANSEHRA: The police on Sunday claimed to have arrested 40 outlaws in the Oghi tehsil during the last year. An official said that the police were vigilant to cope with any untoward situation. It said that during the corresponding year, 76 kg of high-quality charas was seized and action was taken against 160 hotels under hotel Act 2013. It said that police also seized 136 rifles and guns last year. “The police arrested as many as 1080 accused under various sections of laws during 2019,” said the report.
