12 arrested for attacking raiding party in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: A police team led by Lyallpur Town SP Awais Malik on Thursday arrested 12 accused involved in the attack on a team led by the city AC. Police raided surrounding areas of Sidhupura and arrested Sajjad Nasir, Muhammad Zahid, Ali Nazir, Muhammad Sarwar, Akhtar Ali, Altaf Ahmad, Syed Kashif Ali, Muhammad Yaqoob, Ali Imran, Mohabat Ali and Ghulam Jilani. Raids are being conducted by police to arrest the remaining culprits. Earlier, a team led by the City AC was attacked when it raided a fake soft drink factory at Sidhupura some days ago.
