KP govt creating hurdles in LG polls: PML-N MPA
MANSEHRA: Parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the provincial assembly, Sardar Mohammad Yousuf, on Wednesday said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was creating hurdles to local government elections.
"The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf provincial government fears defeat in the local government elections, that's why it is creating hurdles in the way of timely elections," Sardar Yousuf told reporters after the parents day function at Kohsar Academy here. Yousuf, who is also the central senior vice-president of the PML-N, rejected the PTI government's claim that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was in good health and not being treated in London. He said Nawaz Sharif was a man of principles and would return to the country after recovering from illness. "The government is involved in targeted accountability," the MPA said.
