Police recover three kidnapped persons

SUKKUR: The Kashmore police claimed they recovered three kidnapped persons on Tuesday. SSP Kashmore Umar Tufail said the police, on the information that some dacoits were preparing to shift three kidnapped persons to some other place from their hideout, cordoned off the area Masoo Curve and successfully recovered the kidnapped men, including a goldsmith of Sukkur Shahzado Dogar and two residents of Thulh, Gul Hasan and Rahim Bakhsh, before the kidnapers attempted to shift them. The kidnappers, however, managed to escape but were being chased by the police. —Correspondent
