Mother, daughter injured
Police are investigating an incident of shooting in which a woman and her minor daughter were injured.
The family told police that the mother, 32-year-old Samia, wife of Irshad, and the girl, four-year-old Khadija, were injured by stray bullets on the roof of their house located on Abul Hassan Isphani Road, on Tuesday. The victims were taken to a private hospital for medical treatment.
However, the Mobina Town police said when cops visited the home, they found blood in a room. According to SHO Mehboob Elahi, no blood was seen on the roof.
SHO Elahi said it was suspected that the woman's brother-in-law, namely Shahbaz, had gone into hiding which made him a suspect in the case. The family was not cooperating with the investigating team and the police had launched a hunt to catch the woman’s brother-in-law for interrogation.
