MARDAN: The police foiled a terror bid and recovered explosive device planted to a bridge at Mardan-Swabi road in the limits of Shahbaz Garhi Police Station on Monday.
Source said that militants had planted 15kg explosive device to a bridge at Mohib Bypass on Mardan-Swabi road. Taking action on a tip-off, officials of the Bomb Disposal Unit rushed to the spot and defused the device. The Counter Terrorism Department registered a case.
