Unconditional apology
December 16, 2019
This refers to the article, 'Are we gangsters?' (Dec 14) by Babar Sattar. I share the shame and join in the unconditional public apology to the affectees of the gangsterism of the lawyers at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, well-expressed by my friend and distinguished colleague, Babar Sattar in his article.
In my 50 years of law practice in Pakistan, this has been the most humiliating experience for the legal fraternity; had this incident occurred at the time I was choosing a profession for myself, I might not be a lawyer today.
