‘Ainak Wala Jin’,other shows staged

LAHORE:Children’s favourite shows "Taleem", “Putli Tamasha”, “Ainak Wala Jin”, “Alla Din Jadu Ka Chiragh” were staged.

These shows are watched by a large number of children and adults every Sunday at Alhamra Cultural Complex, Gaddafi Stadium, and Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall. Children along with their parents are invited to attend the show with free entry. These shows are regular feature of the LAC to promote culture and traditions with children in understanding their folk legacies which is an important part of their development.

On the occasion, Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Ather Ali Khan said for decades the Lahore Arts Council had been presenting these shows for children to provide purposeful and positive entertainment in the best environment. He said these shows are our cultural beauty, which is kept alive by Alhamra. LAC would continue playing constructive role in building the nation, he added.

Protest: Locals of Ichhara and Rehmanpura staged a demonstration in Wahdat Colony Sunday to protest against the unavailability of gas. The protesters carrying banners chanted slogans against the government and urged the rulers to restore the gas supply to their areas and solve their problems.
