Criminal gang busted in capital
Islamabad: Shalimar Police have arrested a gang of street criminals and recovered, motorbike and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that IGP Islamabad had ordered crackdown against criminals specially involved in street crime. SP (Sadder) Omer Khan constituted special teams.The police team successfully busted three members of a street criminals gang identified as Shahrukh Khan, resident of district Mardan, Sheraz Tamaz, resident of Mansehra and Kamran Khan, resident of Sector G-9/2. Police team also recovered two pistols along with ammunition and Honda 125 motorbike from their possession.
The nabbed persons confessed that they were involved in several incidents in areas of Shalimar, Ramna and Karachi Company police stations. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
