“Education is the basic right of every human being, and a guarantee of development for any nation or society,” he said while addressing parents’ day ceremony at Pak School and College Mardan as chief guest. The event started with the presentation of the national anthem by students. This was followed by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

Addressing the prize distribution ceremony, the college principal Ilyas Khan thanked the parents and guests for attending the event and gave a detailed briefing about the college performance.

“The objective of celebrating parents’ day was to build an effective relationship among students, teachers and parents and honour them for showing exemplary performance in their respective fields,” he added. The chief guest Zeeshan Khanzada, journalists Mohammad Riaz Mayar and Hidayat-ur-Rehman distributed awards among the position-holder students. Addressing the ceremony, Zeeshan Khanzada congratulated the students and their teachers for their outstanding performance.
