10 arrested for festive firing

PESHAWAR: The police have arrested 10 people for aerial firing at a wedding ceremony and later opening fire on cops to avoid arrests.

An official said that police on Sunday arrested 10 people from Paharipura who were involved in festive firing at the wedding. The official said the accused also opened fire on the police when the cops arrived to arrest them. However, the cops managed to arrest the accused including the brother of the bridegroom.
