Human Rights Day events
LAHORE:The Provincial Department of Human Rights and Minority Affairs started celebrations of upcoming International Day of Human Rights at Alhamra Hall, Lahore.
A painting competition will be held at Alhamra on Monday (today) among youths of different educational institutions on the topic of brutality in occupied Kashmir. Through paintings the issue of Kashmir will be raised to express solidarity with innocent Kashmiris. Director of HR M. Yousaf will be the host of the ceremony. On December 10, a grand event will be held at Alhamra in which different parliamentarians, social and political personalities, representatives of civil society, youths from educational institutions will participate, while provincial minister HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine would attend the ceremony as the chief guest.
