Two killed over land dispute in Karak
KARAK: At least two persons were killed and three others sustained injuries in a clash over a land dispute in Tappi Kanda area of Karak tehsil on Friday, police sources said.
The sources said that Azmat Khan, a resident of Tappi Karak, and the members of the family of Daud Shah exchanged hot words over a land dispute. Later, they said, Azmat Khan alleged opened fire on the rivals.
As a result, they said, five persons of the same family sustained serious injuries. Two of the injured identified as Ihsanullah, a student of grade-9 and Reehnaullah, a student of grade-8, succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital, they added.
The three injured identified as Muhammad Ali and his brother Muhammad Saeed and their relative woman, whose name could not ascertained, were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Karak.
On the complaints of the victim family, the police registered first information report of the incident against Azmat Khan and started investigation.
