Fayazul Hassan Chohan asks Shahbaz not to ‘mislead’ nation

LAHORE:Punjab Information Minister Fayazul Hassan Chohan has urged opposition leader in National Assembly Mian Shahbaz Sharif to stop misleading the nation regarding his corruption.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said the law enforcement agencies had nabbed the frontman of Shahbaz Sharif who had confessed corruption of billions of rupees in the tenure of the former the chief minister. He said Shahbaz had handed over a province facing deficit of Rs 1200 billion to Sardar Usman Buzdar. The same province, he said, was in Rs 100 billion surplus situation in the era of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. The minister said that Shahbaz allegedly looted billions through companies which were set in the PML-N tenure whereas the former CM incurred huge loss to the Punjab departments including Wasa, Patwar and others. He said the corruption done by Shahbaz was forcing him to raise hue and cry, adding the NAB’s ‘doctor’ would treat this ailment now.

TDCP: The heritage buildings like State Guesthouse and Governor’s House in Lahore and Murree have been opened to the general public. Besides opening the heritage buildings to general public, the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has also started a three-week tourist guide course at TDCP Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Lahore campus.
