Pakistan’s first tourism expo begins
KARACHI: Pakistan’s very first exhibition on hospitality embraced world attention on the potential of opportunities in hotel and tourism industry in the country, a statement said on Tuesday.
As many as 60 local and foreign companies and their representatives showcased their products and services along with latest technologies being offered in the field, the organisers said in the handout.
They said Pakistan Hospitality Show, aimed at tapping potential in the industry, would conclude on December 5, at Expo Center Karachi. Industry's latest products, services, and technologies have been showcased in the exhibition, along with comprehensive and leading-edge forum sessions, providing local and foreign stakeholders with the best tools to grow and improve their business.
The organisers further said the exhibition and its sideline conference would focus on the investment opportunities in tourism, thus furthering Prime Minister’s vision and agenda of boosting domestic and international tourism in Pakistan.
