Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s minority MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar, while commenting on the reappointment of Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan as Punjab Information Minister has said that ‘this could convey a bad message.’ Talking to The News, Dr Ramesh Kumar stated that it was the prerogative of the Prime Minister to choose anybody for the Ministerial slot but stated that ‘testing an already tested person’ showed that at the moment, we lacked people who could have been considered appropriate for this office. Ramesh Kumar, who had protested strongly in March this year over the controversial remarks of Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan regarding Hindu community while bashing the Indian Prime Minister at an event, further stated that for the slot of Information Minister, a person with negative attitude should be avoided.

“His role as Information Minister previously was very negative and his remarks were not acceptable to any good human being, it is the prerogative of the PM, but this will convey a negative message” said Dr Ramesh Kumar.
