LAHORE: Veteran journalist and columnist Zafar Iqbal Mirza (ZIM) breathed his last in the early hours of Monday.
Zafar Iqbal Mirza (83) popularly known as ZIM was shifted to private hospital owing to severe lung disease on Saturday night. However, ZIM’s lungs collapsed and he departed for his heavenly abode in the early hours of Sunday.
Funeral prayers for him were attended by a number of journalists, activists and people from different walks of life. Quran Khawani for him will be held on Tuesday (today) at 17-B, Canal Garden, Lahore, between 2pm and 3pm. ZIM is survived by his wife and only son Iqbal Zafar
